ATI to Create 130 Indianapolis Jobs

A health care and forensic analysis company plans to create more than 130 new jobs in Indianapolis, Indiana over the next five years.

AIT Laboratories says it will spend more than $9 million to create a new drug development division at its corporate headquarters and laboratory near the Indianapolis International Airport.

Founded in 1990, AIT tests more than 300,000 biological samples annually for clients such as law enforcement agencies and physicians. The company has 200 workers in Indianapolis now.

The company plans to begin hiring additional chemists, managers, laboratory technicians, information technology specialists and customer support staff in 2009.
