thehomedepotHome Depot Inc. has announced plans to close its HD Bath in Kennesaw, Georgia. The plans will eliminate all 75 employees working at their headquarters for their bath remodeling business.

These layoffs are a part of the Home Depot’s restructuring plan, which was announced on January 25. The fix-it store said that they will cut 7,000 jobs, freeze officer salaries, and close 34 EXPO and other stores as a result of the recession and housing crisis.

Previously, Home Depot had announced its plans to close the 34 EXPO Design Center stores, five YardBIRDS stores, two Design Center stores, and seven HD locations. All of these closing will cut nearly 5,000 employees.
