KOB Channel 4 in New Mexico reports an update on Eclipse’s liquidation:

Albuquerque’s Eclipse Aviation, which is heading into Chapter 7 liquidation, may be salvaged by a Wichita based company and remain in the Duke City.
The Albuquerque Journal (subscription) reports that the CEO of Harlow Aerostructures LLC, Phil Friedman, has formed a new entity, Eclipse Acquisition LLC to examine purchasing the manufacturer of very light jets.
Friedman tells the Journal that his plans for Eclipse are to sell fewer light jets at a higher price.
Whether the manufacturer would stay in Albuquerque is at least partly dependent on government incentives, according to the report.
Eclipse Aviation filed for Chapter 11 protection last week. Earlier this week, its major debt holders forced the company into a Chapter 7 liquidation – a move the company didn’t contest.
