Clifton Park Schools to Cut 46 Jobs
Post Views 0The Shenendehowa Central School District of Clifton Park, New York, will cut 46 jobs.
The district needs to shed $6.7 million in expenses over the next 18 months.
Not all 46 employees who have been notified will be laid off — some will retire or switch to other positions.
The district may cut up to three administrative jobs, and 19 teaching positions at the middle and high schools.
Four clerical jobs, 13 aides, four monitors, one mid-level support position, one systems analyst and two cleaner positions will also be eliminated.
The district’s athletic budget would be cut up to 15%.
