Delaware River & Bay Authority Eliminates 14 Jobs

The Delaware River & Bay Authority is eliminating 14 jobs, freezing wages and cutting donations to nonprofits.

While bridge tolls generate about 75% of the authority’s income, bridge traffic was down 4% last year. Ferry traffic fell more than 6%.

The partnership between Delaware and New Jersey operates the bridge, the ferry, five airports, the Three Forts Ferry Crossing and a New Jersey business park.
