Wal-Mart Cuts 650 Optical Lab Jobs
Post Views 6Wal-Mart has announced it is closing it Lockbourne, Ohio optical lab, laying off 650 employees.
Bentonville, Arkansas-based Wal-Mart Stores plans to add jobs at its Crawfordsville, Indiana and Fayetteville, Arkansas facilities. These will be expanded and add approximately 100 jobs.
The laid-off employees will receive pay and benefits for the next 60 days, and will be eligible for jobs at Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club stores in the area. Wal-Mart also will hold two job fairs.
