Hoboken sealThe City of Hoboken, New Jersey is eliminating 60 jobs, or 10% of the city’s municipal workforce.

Last week, seven Hoboken employees lost their jobs. The seven layoffs, from administration, Human Services, the City Clerk’s Office, and police & fire dispatchers, will save the city $350,000 a year.

They will not get severance, but will have their pensions and unused vacation pay.
