Blood Plasma Donation Center to Hire 40 in Ohio

North Carolina’s Talecris will open a new blood plasma donation center in Dayton, Ohio, creating 40 jobs.

The Talecris Plasma Resources Donor Center opens June 2nd. The center will pay donors for their blood plasma, which is sold to medical researchers.

The forty new jobs include on-staff physicians and technicians.

Research Triangle Park, North Carolina-based Talecris Biotherapeutics is a global biotherapeutic and biotechnology company that discovers, develops and produces critical care treatments for people with life-threatening disorders in a variety of therapeutic areas. It operates 60 donation centers across the country, and has regional headquarters in Toronto, Canada, and Frankfurt, Germany.
