Cessna AircraftCessna Aircraft will cut an undisclosed number of jobs, after the aviation firm cut 6,900 positions this year.

The small aircraft manufacturer currently has 12,000 employees.

The firm is responding to order cancellations. It delivered 69 jets in Q1 2009, compared to 95 jets in Q1 2008.

The Cessna Aircraft Company is an airplane manufacturing corporation headquartered in Wichita, Kansas. Their main products are general aviation aircraft. Although they are the most well-known for their small, piston-powered aircraft, they also produce business jets. The company is a subsidiary of the US conglomerate Textron.
