Medco Hiring 160 at Indiana Automated Pharmacy

Medco Health Solutions will hire 160 people at its automated pharmacy complex under construction in Whitestown, Indiana.

The $150 million complex has been under construction since last year.

The 160 jobs will be at a therapeutic resource center, where pharmacists will answer calls from doctors.

Franklin Lakes, New Jersey’s Medco Health Solutions provides pharmacy services for private and public employers, health plans, labor unions and government agencies, and for individuals served by Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plans. A former subsidiary of Merck, it broke off in 2003. It employs 22,000.
