Delta Air Lines to Cut White Collar Jobs

Delta Air Lines Inc., the world’s largest carrier, will cut an undisclosed number of management and administrative jobs.

This is in addition to 8,000 positions Delta has eliminated through voluntary programs since Q2 2008.

Delta had 83,000 employees in June.

Delta Air Lines is based and headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. Delta operates an expansive domestic and international network, spanning North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and the Caribbean.
