Edy’s Ice Cream Adds 120 Jobs in Indiana
Post Views 2Edy’s Ice cream will hire 120 workers for its Fort Wayne, Indiana facility. The Fort Wayne facility makes Nestle drumsticks and other products. The new jobs are a part of a company consolidation and will increase the plant’s workforce to 600 employees. Last year the company was in the final phase of a $29.5 million expansion of the Indiana plant. Edy’s is a subsidiary of Nestle. Nestle was founded in 1905 and is headquartered in Vevey, Switzerland. The company reports annual revenue (as of 2008) of $109.9 billion. It manufactures a multitude of products including baby food, coffee, dairy products, breakfast cereals, confectionery, bottled water, ice cream and pet food.
