Downtown Tampa Project to Create Thousands of Jobs
Post Views 0Thousands of jobs are being created through a redevelopment project in downtown Tampa, Fla. Dubbed Encore, the project will create 1,000 permanent jobs and 4,000 people will be needed to complete the project.
Encore will feature a hotel, condos, a school, grocery store and a skate park. The project is designed to incorporate the history of the area, which used to be known as Central Park Village and was a former haunt of musicians such as Ray Charles, James Brown and Glady Knight, according to Tampa’s ABC Action News.
A job fair was slated to take place at the project site today from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Experienced and non-experienced construction workers are encouraged to apply.
