kentuckyflag_160x120A Louisville firm that manages and develops online-education programs for colleges and universities announced it is adding 10 jobs and there are more to come.

The Learning House Inc. has plans to expand aggressively as a result of it acquiring several new contracts, the company said in a filing with the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority. The Learning House plans to add staff in sales, customer service, account management, marketing and training-support staff.

Learning House was founded in 1985 as a computer consulting and sales company, but now offers online education services to colleges and universities that are unable to develop their own.  It currently offers and manages online degree programs for schools like Brescia University, Kentucky Wesleyan University and Midway College, according to Business First of Louisville.
