vegas_160x120Online travel company Expedia announced Friday that it would be adding 130 jobs to its payroll in Las Vegas, Nevada. After the new hires are in place, Expedia will employ about 500 people in the Las Vegas area.

“Expedia has long been a partner of the Las Vegas travel and tourism industry,” said Vice President of Market Management Michael Reichartz, “and we are pleased to be able to add jobs in this community. This expansion means new jobs for 130 Nevadans and we are hopeful for further growth, which is always something to celebrate.”

Expedia is the world’s largest online travel company.
