signature offsetBoulder, Colo.-based Signature Offset Inc. is investing $3 million for a new facility in Jacksonville, Fla. that will add about 30 jobs to the area.

Officials for the printing company said the Florida facility will be used for printing products such as collegiate newspapers and materials that cater to ethnic communities.

Signature Offset plans to start hiring for the new facility shortly, according to local reports. The jobs will pay an average of $18 an hour.

Signature Offset currently has seven plants throughout the United States and about 300 employees. The company’s sole business, according to its Web site, is printing and binding newsprint and uncoated paper publications. Its goal is “to make the already difficult task of publishing as convenient as possible for publishers.”
