Butler America Cutting Jobs in North Carolina
Post Views 1Butler America, a global engineering design and it service a provider, is cutting staff across North Carolina. The move is the result of the Connecticut-based company losing a contract with AT&T Corp., according to the Charlotte Business Journal.
A total of 22 fleet-maintenance workers are slated to lose their jobs at Butler America on Aug. 29. However, it’s possible the affected workers could land at Butler’s competitor that won the AT&T contract, the company said.
According to the Business Journal, positions to be cut include mechanics, technicians and service coordinators.
Butler America advises large and mid-tier global corporations on global engineering, advanced IT and next generation telecom services.
