Silicon Valley Leading Tech Rebound

WSJ: Tech jobs- in what has been seen as the cradle of past tech booms- are slowly coming back.  Riding the wave of increasing global demand for tech goods and services, Silicon Valley sleeping giants such as Google and Intel are shaking out the cobwebs and starting to hire.

Where there’s smoke, there is often fire.  Placement agencies are seeing a growing demand for skilled tech engineers and workers.

According to one source, the region started to experience a sea change about a half year ago.  One tech jobs site has shown a 70 percent increase in job placement since this time last year.  That’s a good sign for job hunters in Silicon Valley, which boasts the highest tech salaries in the nation, and the technology industry in general.
