imagesjpegMichigan State University has partnered with Korn/Ferry International to develop an innovative new residency and coaching program dedicated to senior-level human resources executives. The program will combine on-site instruction and personalized coaching. The idea is to foster strategic thinking in HR executives, in order to better manage and influence at the C-Suite level.

The first session will take place later this year at the Korn/Ferry International training center in Durango, Colorado from October 19th through the 21st. Among the faculty at Korn/Ferry are Dr. Terry Bacon, Dr. Ken DeMeuse, Jeff Rosenthal, MBA and Dr. Aneil Mishra; all whom are considered to be experts in Leadership and Talent.

According to Mishra, “Human capital like any asset must be managed strategically. Most organizations haven’t realized the full potential of their talent and how it can contribute to compelling results.” Regarding the program, Mishra claims that it “is designed and taught by some of the world’s best leaders in talent management.”

Demeuse said, “The image and profession of HR has evolved substantially during the past few decades, to where it is now one of the most vital functions in an organization today. Employees are viewed as ‘talent,’ and the selection, development, and retention of that talent is seen as critical to the success of business.

The program is designed to increase leadership potential, help HR executives build professional networks and to unequivocally prepare them for C-suite.

Korn/Ferry International has offices throughout the country, as well as in the Asia Pacific, Eurpe, the Middle East and Africa.
