Social Media Specialist Joins Raidous

Ryan Smith, a social media specialist, has joined Raidious as Social Media-Business Development Manager.

A graduate of the IU School of Journalism at IUPUI, Smith began his public relations career in the Indy Racing League, working with multiple teams and drivers including Jaques Lazier, Al Unser III, Phil Giebler and many others. In 2008, Smith worked on Governor Daniel’s re-election campaign as a communications staffer and served as a communications specialist in the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office, promoting such initiatives as the anti-sexting campaign for teens. Smith also served as Director of Communications at Arelco Inc, a local National Car Rental and Alamo Rent-a-Car franchisee.

In the press release at PR Newswire, Matt Chandler, Raidious’ VP of Content Strategy was quoted as saying: “Ryan’s background in social media and risk management makes him the ideal person to be our point person on social media initiatives and strategic services.”
