Ohio FlagAbout 400 people will be laid off by the beginning of 2011 at a Lebanon, Ohio printing facility. The plant, owned by Sussex, Wisconsin-based Quad/Graphics, is one of Lebanon’s largest employers. Quad/Graphics purchased the facility as part of a takeover of Montreal-based WorldColor in July of this year. The plant closure is part of a consolidation effort on the part of Quad/Graphics.

Despite the plant closure, Linda Dunn, a representative of Warren County’s outplacement agency Work Force One, was mostly complimentary when speaking about the company: “People had a good bit of notice. It’s helpful because it didn’t happen overnight. The employees were allowed to get questions answered upfront and learn what they were and weren’t going to get.”
