rylateleservices_160x120The Georgia-based customer service provider, Ryla, will hire 500 people for a Colorado Springs, Colorado call center.  The Ryla call center will replace a PRC call center, with about 100 employees remaining at the Tiffany Square center, that Ryla will attempt to find positions for in addition to their new hirings.  Ryla and PRC are subsidiaries of Alorica, the California-based customer contact company.  Danel Kuhlmann, Alorica Spokesperson, said, “In this economy right now, being able to announce this many jobs is very, very exciting.”

The week of October 4-8, Ryla will hold daily hiring fairs from 9 A.M. through 3 P.M. at Tiffany Squares.  Training will begin on October 11th, with positions paying $10-$11 an hour to begin with.  Mark Wilson, Ryla’s CEO, said in a press release, “We’re excited to bring this number of jobs to the area and have been very impressed with the caliber of the area’s workforce.”

Kuhlmann states that the center will provide inbound customer service for an as yet unknown Fortune 50 Company of the telecommunications sector.  PRC primarily worked with DirecTV, but it is not clear if Ryla will continue that.
