Apple to Hire Engineers to Work for a Verizon Device

apple-logo2 Apple Inc., a California-based corporation that designs and markets consumer electronics, computer software and personal computers, is about to hire iPhone engineers to work on a device for Verizon, a global broadband and telecommunications company. The worldwide IT giant is said to have a tie up with Verizon to launch the 4G brand in the market on a full scale. By the end of 2011, after the contract with AT&T has been finalized, Apple will launch its devices along with Verizon, to set a new technology trend and conquer the IT industry.

According to reports, the multinational company will be hiring about 10 CDMA engineers who will work with the Apple’s CDMA technology particularly with the internal development team radio stack vendor, certification and field test teams. The IT giant will be looking for engineers who have necessary skills in the cellular technology areas such as GSM, GPRS, EDGE, WCDMA, HSDPA, HSUPA, and CDMA. These engineers will then be responsible for triaging protocol issues reported from certification test, IOT, and field tests, driving for continuous performance improvements. In addition, the said engineers will also be developing the actual iPhone for Verizon, the only wireless technology company that has come up with the fourth generation technology, globally known as 4G.
