BAE Systems To Consolidate Human Resources and Finance In Charlotte

BAE Systems Inc. has announced a $3 million investment to establish a 176-employee service center in the Charlotte area.

According to Linda Hudson, BAE’s chief executive, the new center will consolidate the company’s human-resources and finance operations.

“The consolidation of all of our companywide processes and services for human resources and finance into one shared services center is essential to improving performance, reducing costs and improving competitiveness,” Hudson said.

The center will open up and start operations during the second half of 2011.
