Stanford University Appoints David Jones As Vice President of Human Resources

Stanford University has appointed David Jones as the vice president of human resources.

Jones, who was previously the associate vice president for employee and management services, will take over for Diane Peck, who had announced her retirement last fall.

Jones has an extensive work history, working for many top organizations. He joined the Stanford staff in 2007. Prior to that he had worked for universities such as Harvard, Georgetown and Howard, and organizations such as the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Southern California Edison Co. and Catholic Healthcare West.
