Strike of Supplier Could Disrupt Hyundai and Kia Production

On Sunday, Hyundai and Kia Motors announced that a labor strike at one of their suppliers may disrupt their production. The supplier, Yoosung Enterprise, provides important engine parts and piston rings to Hyundai, accounting for roughly half of their supply. Hyundai estimates that their engine stock will begin to deplete on May 24, which could affect their production if the strike is not ended.
