There have been large scale cuts in jobs and remuneration coupled with a lingering fear of losing jobs in people’s minds. This has been causing mental and physical health problems to many people. The number of such middle class Americans is estimated to be as high as 35% as reported by First Command Financial Services. The Center for Mental Health Services is flooded with calls from people suffering varying degrees of stress; some even calling suicide hotlines! People need to be aware of the symptoms financial distress related issues can cause.
