Work/Family Conflicts are Felt More by Men Than Women
Post Views 1The New Male Mystique report released by the Families and Work Institute (FWI) reveals that fathers in two income families feel more work/family conflicts than women.
“Men are more family-centric and wanting to be more involved with their families. There is a change, no question.” said Ellen Galinsky, President of FWI, and one of the authors of the report.
Having family supportive work-environment and flexibility like being able to take time off during the workday for family issues, can reduce work/family related stress for men working 50+ hours a week.
