NH hospitals facing budget cuts layoff hundreds
Post Views 0The two year state budget that came in to effect on July 1, has resulted in layoffs of employees in New Hampshire hospitals. Under the new budget, hospitals are struggling to fill a $250 million gap after cutting reimbursement for treating Medicaid patients. The state is also taxing hospitals 5.5 percent on net patient revenues. The fallout from the state’s budget cuts has hit new Hampshire hospitals including Southern New Hampshire Medical center in Nashua, ark land Medical Center,etc.
