A survey done by National Business Group on Health brings into sharp focus the high spurt in costs relating to employee health care benefits that the employers are expected to bear in 2012; the sluggish growth of economy hardly permits employers to cope this rise in financial burden. One way most businesses find to tackle this is by planning employees share more of the cost i.e. implementing consumer-driven health benefit programs as health care reform laws become operational.
