More Areas Now Being Required to Give Paid Sick Leave

Across the nation, a few cities and one state have made it a requirement for businesses to give paid sick leave to their employees.  San Francisco; Seattle; and Washington, D.C. all require businesses to give their employees paid sick leave.  Connecticut is the first state that has passed a law requiring businesses to give employees paid sick leave.  There are currently similar proposed bills that will require businesses to give their employees paid sick leave in almost two dozen other states and cities, and some of them will probably pass, meaning even more areas will most likely make paid sick leave a requirement for their businesses.
