LA Mayor Warns of Possible Layoffs

Antonio Villaraigosa, mayor of Los Angeles, has made a surprising announcement of another possible layoffs and pension reforms while addressing a group of around 200 investors. The city is facing budget deficiency, since economy is sluggish, so the city has left with no more options but to reduce its workforce. However, Victor Gordo, a member of the Coalition of L.A. City unions expressed disappointment about this announcement.
