The School District within the State College Area has recently made an announcement about its new director of human resources. The district has decided to hire Sandy Emerich to fill the position. She was approved for the position at the end of April, the 30th to be exact. Emerich has a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology, which she received from Millersville University. She also had a certification in human resources, which she earned at Penn State University. She has been actively working as a member of the school business officials in Pennsylvania and now, she will become the human resources director.

On the 1st of July, Emerich will begin her new position, working as the director of human resources for the PASABO. She will also serve as both a speaker and an educator for a number of different conferences. Emerich was the perfect fit for the position, as she has plenty of experience in the field. Throughout her career, she has held down a number of different position in which she had many responsibilities, all of which she was able to accomplish. She first started her career working for the Warwick School District, in which she was a secretary for the assistant superintendent and also worked as a coordinator for transportation. After holding down this position, she then moved on to take on a position at the Red Lion School District, in which she was the director of human resources. She had responsibilities for creating a set emergency plan that the district could use in the event of an emergency. After she presented the plan, many other areas wanted to follow it as well.

For a short while, Emerich went on to pursue work within the Coatesville Area School District, in which she served as, yet again, the director of human resources. Emerich filled in the position because it had been vacant for quite some time and someone qualified needed to fill the position. During this time, she worked on updating and revamping the department. She also worked for the Manheim Central School District, serving as the human resources director and holding down the responsibility of everything that had to do with human resources.

Emerich is quite happy to join the State College Area School District and says she feels excited about taking on the position. She wants to work with the district and work on creating fantastic relationship with staff members and the entire community. In the meantime, the superintendent, Bob O’Donnell, says that he is excited to have Emerich on board. He says that with her experience of human resources, she has a lot to bring to the table, especially in helping the district to grow and move forward.
