Tata Consultancy Services Ltd to Hire 2,000 in The USA

Tata Consultancy Services Ltd., is a name you may not know, despite the company’s size. The company is looking to expand and bring in new workers. The twist is that the company, which many US organizations outsource to, is looking to hire workers in the USA. The company will be hiring on about 2,000 people between now and next March.

The company did not put out a release about the new hires they are undertaking. Instead the companies most recent release was about an acquisition that will put more workers on the payroll, “Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) (BSE: 523540, NSE: TCS), the leading IT services, consulting and business solutions firm, announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire 100% equity of Computational Research Laboratories (CRL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Sons, for a cash consideration of Rs 188 crore (US $34 million). The acquisition of CRL, a pioneering start-up firm in the arena of High Performance Computing (HPC) solutions in India, will enable TCS to extend its suite of solutions and offer integrated HPC applications and Cloud services to its large base of customers.”

The company did not put out a formal list of all of the positions they will be hiring for, but those workers who are interested should keep at watch on the company’s HR site.
