Disney Takes a Gamble on Box Office Wizardry of ‘Oz’

Disney is taking a gamble and has been spending time remaking the Wizard of Oz. The famous movie from 1939 originally made and owned by Warner Brothers. As the Wizard of Oz and it’s prequel Wicked have such a large and loyal following, it’s hard to see which way this movie will go with important aspects of the original being left out and other things seemingly from no where being put in. Who knows exactly how this will be taken by the public? Will it be a hit or miss?
