Coronado Schools Seek Support As Campuses Face Layoffs

It’s quite painful to note that issuance of layoff notices to 24 staff members is likely to have a huge impact on two of the signature events that are slated to be held this week in Coronado. Although the move would place a key Silver Strand Elementary School program in chaos, Connect-a-Thon, the Coronado School Foundation’s annual fundraiser, could chip in to prevent such an ugly scenario.
