UPDATE 1-Arms programs may face ax if US cuts prevail -Pentagon

It’s quite saddening to note that failure on the part of Congress and Obama administration to find a way to roll back additional budget cuts which began on March 1 is likely to result in some U.S. weapons programs facing termination. However, it’s consoling to learn that the Pentagon would seek to safeguard some programs, including cyber security and the lockheed Martin Corp F-35 Joint Strike Fighter.
