Illinois Court Making Noncompete Agreements Harder to Enforce
Post Views 1A hearing in the Illinois Appellate Court, First District, ruled that a restrictive covenant signed by an employee was unenforceable. Finding that the restrictive covenant was insufficient, the court ruling could make it harder for employers to enforce restrictive agreements with their employees.
Illinois employers are advised to confer with employment counsel when drafting and implementing restrictive type covenants.
