Granted.com became the best free job search engine on the internet by holding to a few basic principles, including that they are nonbiased, but post job-wanted ads without employers nosing in and paying them to do so. Based on a firm philosophy that the market is always the employees market, granted.com gives job seekers what they are actually looking for: the best jobs on the market.

And since they do not charge for job postings, they are more meticulous in laying out the full range of jobs available. Consider this simple test. Let’s say you’re a writer, looking for employment. A simple search of “writer” renders 9,209 jobs not just in some locations, but in any location you could hope for.

How does the competition stack up in this search test? Monster.com gives over a 1,000 entries, which isn’t bad, but they are skewed to favor the jobs who are paying the most to nab you, the jobs, in other words, who have the least to offer on their own.

A similar search on careerbuilder.com renders 2,847 jobs. Again, that’s not bad, but compares poorly to granted.com, and further, the jobs are skewed to cast a hook in your eye. These people work for the employers, not the job seekers, and so you can expect that the jobs you are seeking will be artificially beefed up on steroids, and that, therefore, you will be competing with an artificially inflated hiring pool.

Save yourself such struggles and go with a site that has you, the job-seeker, in mind. Try granted.com today!
