I am interested in changing from a career in employee benefit administration to Web page design. I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology, so I basically need to start from scratch. I am trying to figure out the best way to get the training I need to get involved in the Web. Are tech schools considered reputable by employers?
Tech schools generally are fine places to get the skills you need to design Web pages. What employers really want is not a degree but proof positive that a person can do the work. If you build a page that shows you can do the things employers might want done with their pages, you should be able to find work.
