Cannondale Cutting 200 Pennsylvania Jobs
Post Views 0Dorel Industries, the manufacturer of Cannondale bicycles, is cutting 200 manufacturing jobs at a Pennsylvania facility.
The Bedford plant, which will no longer manufacture bike frames, will shrink to 100 workers by the end of 2010.
The bicycle frames will be manufactured at a facility in Taiwan.
Dorel says workers in Bedford will shift their focus to bicycle assembly, machining, testing, warranty repair and more.
Montreal-based Dorel bought Cannondale last year.
