Teacher layoffs not to happen after eval deal collapse
Post Views 0Today Chancellor Dennis Walcott announced that the collapse of teacher appraise talks comes with many costs, but the teacher sacking won’t be among them. Last week, by a state deadline with the teachers union, the Department of Education is set to forgo $240 million in increased state school aid after it failed to agree on a new evaluation system.
