Logitech announces layoffs
Post Views 1In January Logitech CEO Bracken Darrell announced plans to take “decisive action,” including selling its Harmony remote division, to turn the company’s fortunes around. Logitech will lay off 140 people, or about five percent of its non-direct workforce, as part of an organizational shuffle aimed to help the company react to shifting markets. Sluggish performance in the PC goods business has forced Logitech to turn to products such as the Ultrathin Keyboard Cover for iPad, and the company plans to further increase its focus on mobile in the future while increasing profitability on the PC side
