Capgemini Energy Lays of 56 in Irving, Texas

Capgemini Energy LP has just announced that it will be cutting 56 jobs at their Irving, Texas facility. Capgemini Energy, as well as it’s sister company, Capgemini Applications Services LLC sent a letter to the Texas Workforce Commission to inform them of the decision.

The layoffs will happen at the 200 W. Carpenter Fwy. Location of Capgemini. They will not happen until April.

Being blamed for the layoffs, by Capgemini, is the terminated service agreement between Capgemini and Texas Competitive Electric Holdings Co.

According to Capgemini, some of the workers who will be laid off will also receive job opportunities with Texas Competitive Electric Holdings Co.
