Cascade Cuts Workforce 20%, Freezes Pay

Truck components maker Cascade has cut 20% of its workforce.

The company has also reduced work schedules, including limited plant shutdowns, at most of its operations; cut executive pay by 10%, and implemented pay and hiring freezes.

Before the layoffs the Fairview, Oregon-based company had 2,400 employees.
