Kaiser Permanente Cutting 700 IT Workers
Post Views 1Health insurer Kaiser Permanente and IBM have inked a $500 million, seven-year agreement to improve Kaiser’s information technology superstructure. The deal means Kaiser will cut 700 of its current IT workforce.
The deal involves data centers that manage Oakland, California’s Kaiser computers and data backups.
Kaiser has data centers in Silver Spring, Maryland, and in Corona, Napa, Walnut Creek and Irvine, California.
