Harco Cutting 106 Ohio Jobs
Post Views 1Auto parts manufacturer Harco Industries is cutting 106 jobs in 7,000-person Moraine, Ohio, as client General Motors slashes production.
The company employed 400 people in Moraine when it launched the facility in 2008. At that time the firm received a 225,000 grant from Montgomery County, The town also gave Harco a loan of $100,000.
In 2007 the state gave Harco a $1.3 million loan to retain 421 jobs over three years.
The privately-owned manufacturer was founded in 1976, and is based in Englewood, Ohio.
