Air France-KLM to Cut 3,000 Employees

Air France-KLM will cut 3,000 jobs this fiscal year.

The airline eliminated 2,700 jobs in fiscal 2008.

It also announced a deal with Delta Airlines to share selected routes.

Air France-KLM is a European airline holding company incorporated under French law, with its headquarters at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport near Paris, France.

It is the largest airline company in the world in terms of total operating revenues, and also the largest in the world in terms of passenger-kilometers.
