GEGeneral Electric will cut 60 jobs from its plant in West Burlington, Iowa, which manufactures low-voltage switchgear.

Some of the reductions will come from early retirees.

The facility currently employs 313 people. As of the 2000 census, West Burlington had a population of 3,161.
