Wells Fargo Shutting NC Mortgage Center, Laying Off 62

Wells Fargo will shut down a mortgage processing center in Durham, North Carolina, eliminating 62 jobs. The work will go to another mortgage processing center in Charlotte.

The Durham facility will close by the end of this month. Those laid off can apply for new jobs at Wells Fargo and Wachovia offices.
